The digital world has grown tremendously due to the corona pandemic. Google India has also decided to introduce educational programs focusing on internet safety for parents as well as children. Also the internet giant has joined hands with Amar Chitra Katha to teach important internet safety lessons to children through popular comic book characters.
The new Safety Center has gone live with Hindi, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu languages and by the end of 2021, it will also come to Bengali, Gujarati and Tamil.
Through the new Safety Center, Google will inform users about the need for digital safety. In this, data security, privacy control and online protections will be told.
Google believes that this will reduce fraud. The safety of children from hackers will also increase. The Be Internet Awesome programme launched by Google will tell children, families and educators how to be safe online.
